Recipe - Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Milkshake

I suppose if it's got milk in it, it qualifies as a milkshake (yay dictionaries). I usually think of ice cream when I think of milkshakes though but oh well. Since Duc had taken out all of his wisdom teeth (four at once!), we played around with liquid foods he could enjoy and get energy from - one I thought of was the type of smoothies I used to get when I was in school and on the run. A solid cup of a peanut butter chocolate banana smoothie gave me enough sugar, protein, and filling-of-the-stomach to keep me going a few hours. Here's the recipe we put together with lots of peanut buttery goodness!

Step 1: Ingredients (yields approximately 3 cups/24 oz.)
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsps chocolate syrup
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups almond milk (or your milk of choice)

Step 2: Making the milkshake
I like milkshakes and other like liquid drinks. They're quite easy. Place in blender. Blend & enjoy!
