Recipe - Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing

I got a taste of this simple dressing during my Alternative Spring Break when someone whipped it together with the strawberry sauce that was made in the canning demonstration. It was pretty good so I tried to recreate it. I'm not doing exact measurements because I want to make sure that you can adjust this recipe to the amount of dressing you need for your salad!

Step 1: Ingredients (serving size: varies)

  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 part balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1 part Dijon mustard
  • 1 part olive oil
  • 2 parts strawberry sauce/preserves

Step 2: Mixing
Whisk together all the ingredients rapidly to make sure the olive oil is not separated from the other ingredients. Salt and pepper to your liking. You might even adjust the portions to your liking before putting it on your salad!
