Technique - Making Preserves Filled Cupcakes

This is for those of us who do not have a pastry bag filler thing but would like to add some jelly/jam/preserves to our cupcakes. I had posted earlier on this topic here as well as a complementary peanut butter frosting recipe here but I realized that the technique itself was not really documented well. Therefore, I did a short recording while in the midst of making cupcakes with my brother.

After you have made your cake batter, you want to fill the cupcake holder about halfway full. Then drop a small amount (a small amount goes a long way) of jam/jelly in the middle. To prevent it from spreading out and leaking through the sides when it bakes, follow the video below on how to seal (by the way, it's very simple):
