[You can read my first review here] How do I keep myself away from the yummy diner goodness of Kaye's Kitchen? I simply can't. Even though I was going to eat a big meal later that day, I snagged whatever time I had to see Duc to get breakfast at Kaye's. No regrets.
I only got a side of hash browns since I knew that I would be eating something big later. I swear - they have perfected the art of making hash browns. Crispy on the outside and soft (but not too soft) on the inside, the hash browns are superb and not too badly priced either. Duc's order of biscuits and gravy was pretty good as well but not the best I've had. Then again, I've been to the South where biscuits and gravy are a staple.
The French toast was divine however. I could smell the cinnamon sweetness when it was served. We didn't even need syrup because all the flavors were well-packed into the pieces of toast. Talking about hitting the breakfast spot! Another meal well-done Kaye's. I shall be making you my regular for any breakfasts out.
