Valentine's Day 2014 Restaurant Specials Round-Up

Lark Creek Newport Beach celebrates Valentine’s Day in true couple’s fashion with a four-course prix fixe menu priced at $110 for two. Diners will delight in a dozen oysters on the half shell with horseradish granite; Dungeness crab cakes with shaved fennel and pickled papaya; 10oz. fillet mignon with Perigord black truffle potatoes and charred baby carrots; and indulge in a milk chocolate croissant bread pudding with white chocolate ice cream. Ways & Means invites guests to dine with their loved ones all weekend long, with their Valentine’s Day menu available from Friday, February 14 to Sunday, February 16. The six-course prix-fixe menu includes Oysters on the Half Shell with mignonette, lemon, and Tabasco; the restaurant’s signature Salmon Rillettes with red onion, watercress, and lemon aioli; housemade Lobster Ravioli with goat cheese, basil, and bisque-style stew of peppers; Pan Seared Scallops with hon shimeji mushrooms, sautéed spinach, and celeriac remoulade; a choice of roasted duck or chicken; and Raspberry Eat n Mess with crème Chantilly and meringue for dessert.
